When I started medical school, my father received a cancer diagnosis, which I think planted the early seed of my interest in becoming an oncologist. I was also drawn to the multifaceted and challenging nature of treating cancer, which to me is a ‘living, breathing’ disease that is always changing and evolving. I want every person in my care to know that they can count on me giving my utmost effort in battling their cancer. I’m in the fight with them, always putting their well-being first, giving them my undivided attention, and treating them with honesty and dedication.
